CouchMenu (“we”, “us”) is a free guide to what’s on TV in India, where to watch live sports, and what’s new on OTT streaming apps. It is available as a website (https://couchmenu.in) and as a phone app. This policy explains what information is involved when you use CouchMenu and the choices you have.
1. No account, no login
You do not need to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, phone number or email to use CouchMenu. We do not run user accounts and we do not ask for your location.
2. Settings stored on your device
Your language (English / Hindi) and theme (dark / light) are saved only on your own device: in your browser’s local storage on the website, or in the app’s storage on your phone. This information never leaves your device and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data or uninstalling the app.
3. Advertising (Google AdSense and AdMob)
CouchMenu is free because it shows ads. On the website ads are provided by Google AdSense; in the phone app by Google AdMob. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID) and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see an ad, measure performance and prevent fraud.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to CouchMenu and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings (
adssettings.google.com), or learn more at
aboutads.info. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s settings.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you (non-personalised ads).
Where the law requires your consent for advertising cookies (for example for visitors from the European Economic Area or the UK), a consent message will be shown before personalised ads are used.
4. Links to other apps and websites
CouchMenu tells you where a show, movie or match can be watched and may link to official OTT apps or websites (for example “Watch on …” buttons). When you follow such a link you leave CouchMenu, and that service’s own privacy policy and terms apply. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
5. Where our information comes from
TV timings, sports fixtures and OTT release dates are compiled by hand from public sources such as channel announcements, broadcaster and platform pages and news reports. They contain no personal information about you.
6. What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

We do not collect contact lists, photos, precise location or payment details.

We do not show live scores or stream any video.
7. Hosting and basic logs
Like any website, the servers that deliver CouchMenu may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify you.
8. Children
CouchMenu is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
